ABTA 2016 Wednesday Night Tourist Activity


Join us for dinner and a tour of D.C.’s Monuments. The cost for this event is only $50 and guests are welcome. The Capital City Tours bus holds 54 of us, so we plan on filling that up. If we get beyond 54 signing up, it will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with a waiting list beginning after the first 54. If we have a total of 75 or more wanting to go, we can add a second bus. The bus will pick us up by 5:30 and return us by 10:30. You can sign up for this event when you complete the convention registration form found in the Spring Quarterly and soon on this website.

5:15 p.m Meet at the Marriott Wardman Park Concierge desk
5:30 p.m Meet the bus and leave for dinner.
6:00-7:15 p.m. Dinner at Buca di Beppo where we will have a family style Italian dinner. Mixed Green Salad/Caesar Salad, Spaghetti Marinara & Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmigiana, Homemade Cheesecake and Unlimited Soft Drinks, Coffee & Tea.
7:30 p.m We will see our national monuments and federal buildings flooded in lights, from the illuminated dome of the U.S. Capitol to the breathtaking view from Lincoln Memorial. Step off the coach and visit: Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the Lincoln, Korean War, World War II and FDR Memorials as well as the Marine Corps Memorial (Iwo Jima). Time permitting view from coach: The U.S. Capitol, House and Senate Office Buildings, Federal Triangle, Pennsylvania Avenue, and the White House. (All Sites – Time and Lines Permitting).
